Maison McCoo is a spacious 3 bedroom lodge in the beautiful grounds of a Golf and Country Park in Northumberland, 12 miles north of Morpeth in Swarland.
Located in a beautiful, quiet cul-de-sac, at Percy Woods Golf and Country Park, the popular Cezzano style Lodge has a side entrance into the open area of the kitchen, dining area and sitting room. The large lounge area has a lovely open feel with leather and fabric sofas, a dining area.
The kitchen is well designed and comes with oven/hob, fridge freezer, washer, toaster – all mod cons. Fully equipped with plates, cups etc.
The dining table is opposite the kitchen and has its own area to enjoy a meal and entertain.
The Lounge has a TV with firestick for all live sports, series and movies, so there will always be something to watch! Access the decking from the lounge to the rattan furniture and listen to the ducks on the pond. The pond is approximately 10m long and is teeming with wildlife, ducks, moorhens and we also have deer on the park.
From the sitting room is a hallway. From there are the master bedroom, two further single bedrooms, a family bathroom with walk in shower, sink and wc – there is a second bathroom with just a w/c.
The master bedroom has a double bed, TV, plenty of fitted wardrobes for storage, and dressing table area. There is direct access to the family shower room, which is fully equipped with walk in shower, handbasin and toilet.
The two bedrooms have full size single beds and have access to both the family bathroom and the separate toilet.
Maison McCoo has a fantastic outside decking area from the front door right around to the outside of the sitting room, so no matter where the sun is, you can sit and enjoy. Sit out and bask in the sun or under the stars, lounge on the fantastic outdoor seating, star gaze in an evening, relax and enjoy a beverage (or two!). This lodge is for the owners only – we have a sister lodge directly opposite.
A fantastic feature of the lodge is its view, it sits right on a beautiful pond, full of wildlife. We spend hours sitting and watching the ducks, moorhens and enjoy visits from the deer and rabbits all over the park.
Parking is available for owners next to Maison McCoo and two spaces at Fegsy’s Favela plus an additional communal parking space, then extra space up at reception.
Percy Woods has its own golf course for guests to use.
The owners share a love of wildlife and especially highland cows, the lodge has lots of nods to the gorgeous animal, lovely bright colours and furnishings. This is a lovely, spacious, luxury holiday home in Northumberland.
And Fegsy’s Favela? Well, that’s the sister lodge, directly opposite to McCoo, which can be rented out. Fegsy is a tribute to the owner Keith – his childhood nickname, and your contact for your holiday is Maria. This is a couple who spent time in Northumberland in 2021, love golf, and fell in love with Percy Woods and its tranquil setting…..and the dream was born.
